Done-zo

I finished Pretties, at 4 a.m. this morning!! I couldn't believe it but I lost track of time and before I knew it, I was finished and dog tired!! Anyway... I really really like this series!! I would almost say that I love it...but for now I'll say really really like. I love the way I get wrapped up in the story. It hasn't turned out at all like I invisioned!! And I love that. I wish I could elaborate but I know you just started, so I don't want to ruin anything for ya!!

This morning I started another Janet Evanovich story, I'm about a third of the way through. And then I have one more book to read and then on to the third book in the series, Specials!! Can't wait!!

Hiatus

So... I took a small hiatus and deterred my reading to one of my guilty pleasures: the Janet Evanovich series.... The 14th book just came out on paperback and I had to snatch it up. Fearless Fourteen, read it in a day and a half, it was pretty good. Now, as of last night, I am a few chapters past Part II in Pretties, the second installation in the Scott Westerfeld series. It's pretty good so far, I just hope you like it too because I know how you were skeptical.... Let me know what you think.....

I'm finished also!! Sorry it took me a little longer this time. Man the ending was a total cliff hanger!! Geez!! Well I think I'm going to continue on with the series, but we can start a different book if you would like. I don't mind at all!! Border's date? Don't forget the quarter!! ;)

sole attention

ok so i finished thirteen reasons why last night. so now uglies will have my sole attention!! and maybe i can catch up to you!!! haha!!

Sooo....

I think I might be a slacker.... I'm only about a quarter way through the book :/ And that's only because when we finished the last book I started reading Thirteen Reasons Why, and I can't put it down!!! I'll read like 4 chapters in that book and only 1 chapter in Uglies. But I'm still reading so I guess that's all that counts :) You better not give anything away!! haha

On To The Next Book....

So.... We didn't stick to our original book list very effectively. Oh well, those books were too serious to be read back to back and during the summer. Our next book is a Young Adult Science Fiction/Fantasy/Horror that was recommended by my very close friend who is a Highschool English teacher. It is a fairly new series written by Scott Westerfeld, the first installment is Uglies. Hopefully we will enjoy this one more thoroughly. As of yet I am on about the fourth chapter and it seems pretty interesting. Westerfeld has created a whole new society that is split up between two groups. The dichotomization of the society is between the ugly people and the pretty people. Physically separated by a body of water the societies do not seem to coexist on a regular basis. This book seems both fast paced and intriguing... I'll let ya know how it pans out!!!

FINALLY!!

SO.... I'M FINALLY FINITO!! THANK GOODNESS!! FELT LIKE IT WENT ON FOREVER!! WELL... ANYWHO...IT WAS PRETTY GOOD, DIDN'T END HOW I THOUGHT IT WOULD. I WOULD LIKE TO MOTION FOR A MORE CONTEMPORARY BOOK PICK NEXT TIME!! :)

well well well....

So I'm almost finished, and this book, in my opinion is pretty good. I just think it's a little slow paced. It seems as if when I finally got used to the written language of Bronte was just about the time that the story slowed down for me. As of right now I'll be generous and give it 3 out of 5 stars. Hopefully the ending will rally :)

So...

I'm right now to the point where Heathcliff comes back!! Yay!! Can't wait to see what happens!!! Man, I wish we talked like they do in the book!! They sound so intelligent!!

My thoughts....

I started reading a little more intensely last night. I am now on chaper 11. I sat down to read and got swept away in the story and completely lost track of time!! Before I knew it, it was 2:30!!This story is way better than I thought it would be. Poor little Healthcliffe (sp?), and now Catherine said all those things and he overheard her!! I'm at the point in the book where he is not back yet. The anticipation was dring me crazy last night but my droopy tired eye lids unfortunately won the battle....until tonight.......

Through the first chapter

Started late last night... I've only gotten through the first chapter. I think it will take me a few chapters to get used to Emily's type of writing, but I have a feeling that I'm going to like this book alot!!!
